Farewell Port Dickson

It was a 10-15 minutes drive and as soon as we reached the bus terminal, we walked through the shop houses selling knickknack but as nothing interest us, we proceeded back to the bus terminal. We were frantically looking for the booth ticket only to realize that we should buy the tickets from the bus driver himself. We paid RM8 for two pax to bring us all the way to Seremban 1. We did not have to wait long as the bus departed a few minutes later. There were only a handful of passengers including us and it was a smooth and comfortable 45-60 minutes ride.

Once at the bus terminal, we walked through an underground tunnel that leads to KTM station. We wanted to checkout Seremban Parade situated just opposite the station. It looks promising on the outside but lo and behold, it was like ghost town inside! Only comfort was Parkson, sort of like Metro in Singapore. There is also a local boutique, First Lady, selling Muslim woman's wear and eateries like MacDonald, the Chicken Rice Shop, Pizza Hut and a bowling centre.

We enquired at the customer service counter for any nearby cinema and she told us to go to another mall behind the bus terminal. We dashed across the street to look for this Terminal 1 mall. Oh boy, the place was much livelier, more shops, another Parkson, Giant and a cinema! We bought 7.30pm tix, RM 18 for 2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ended about 10.15pm and we had about 90 mins left before our departure.

Earlier, a staff in Terminal 1 told us that there was a 24 hours A&W outlet behind Seremban Parade.  But it was too dark and we felt it was quite unsafe to travel around so no A&W waffle or float that night.

Our train arrived as scheduled and it was freezing cold in the train. There was no view, no TV, so I fell into deep sleep soon after and only woke up upon hearing the announcement over the loudspeaker. We have reached JB Station and had to get our passports ready for custom checks in the cabin.

We reached Singapore at about 6.15am, got our bags screened and alas, home sweet home. No Monday blues despite the morning traffic. Only sweet memories to last us till the next upcoming holiday. So long!
